We are pleased to offer our Evaluation Edition of Profit Plan for your more in-depth review. However, this special special edition software is intended for use only by the CEO's and CFO's, and/or their business consultants. Therefore we invite your attention to the license agreement that comes attached to the Profit Plan Evaluation Edition, as is shown below.

License Agreement and Warranty

A. The Product:

Profit Plan Evaluation Edition is the copyrighted property of Security Development Corporation (SDC), Everett, Washington, USA. Profit Plan and Your Vision of Tomorrow are registered trademarks of SDC.

This license agreement provides limited rights to install and use the Profit Plan Evaluation Edition for review prior to purchase as follows:

B. Legitimate Use:

The Profit Plan Evaluation Edition is freely offered to the general public for review by those with a legitimate need and desire to acquire financial management software for use within their business. ONLY such individuals are authorized to install and review this product without the express written permission of SDC.

C. Authorization Password:

An Authorization Password is required to activate this product. This password will expire 15 days after issue, but may be renewed at the sole discretion of SDC. You can convert this evaluation edition into a functional production edition by obtaining a special password by telephone and downloading selected additional components.

D. Usage:

(1) You may install the Profit Plan Evaluation Edition on a single computer.

(2) You may make a backup copy of the software for archival purposes.

(3) You may provide this Evaluation Edition to other interested parties qualified under the 'Legitimate Use' clause above, PROVIDED they agree to obtain a new authorization password directly from Security Development Corporation.

(4) You may remove this product from your computer at any time by using the uninstall program provided for this purpose during the install.

E. Prohibitions:

(1) You may not provide your authorization password to others. The password is unique to you, your company, and the time issued.

(2) You may not reproduce, transmit, or translate any portion of the documentation and/or software into any other language by any means without first receiving prior written approval from Security Development Corporation.

(3) You may not decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, modify or otherwise reduce the software components to human perceivable form.

(4) You may not lease, loan, resell, rent, sublicense, assign, distribute or network the software and/or its associated publications, or create derivative products from same.

F. Warranty and Liability Limitations:

The sole warranty with respect to the Profit Plan Evaluation Edition is that it reasonably represents Profit Plan's capabilities for your evaluation. This Evaluation Edition is not intended for use in analysis of your company's current financial condition or in the production of any plan or budget for management of your business. Under no circumstances will Security Development Corporation or its licensors be liable to you for any damages or costs, including lost profits, lost data or other indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use, misuse, or inability to use this evaluation software.
