Password Activated
The Profit Plan Evaluation Edition is password activated. The password is good for 15 days from date of issue and must be received directly from Security Development Corporation. Before downloading proceeds, we recommend you review the Evaluation License Agreement regarding this password.
We also suggest you fill in and submit the Evaluation Password Request Form before you begin downloading. This will facilitate generating the two passwords you will need. The first password is used to unlock the installation package itself, that has been securely awaiting you here on the internet. The second password activates your copy, once installed. The activation password itself can be renewed, should you be called away and unable to complete the initial review in the two weeks provided.
We will return your passwords by e-mail or fax within one business day. While we can also issue the passwords by phone call during business hours, it is usually more successful by email or fax. This helps insure that everything is spelled and entered appropriately.
Installation
Begin by downloading or running the self-extracting demo PrfEval.exe (Build 2010.1.2902).
While waiting for the file transfer, request the Profit Plan Evaluation Passwords, if you have not yet done so.
Once the download is complete, double-click the PrfEval.exe file via the Windows Explorer to begin installing. (If run from the Web, the install program will begin automatically, but be patient while the file transfers.) In either case, enter the first password provided to unlock the installer.
Follow the install program's on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
Select the Read Me at the end of the installation and browse through it for an initial introduction to Profit Plan.
Then
launch Profit Plan v2010 and enter the Activation password
information that has been provided to you. Once entered, Profit
Plan v2010 will automatically load and display a built-in sample
business financial model.
Then you are ready for the Getting
Started tour available on the main Help menu.

Chip Set: Minimum: Pentium 160mz+ for Profit Plan. (However, expect long load times and relatively slow module transitions on the typical computer sporting these chips. The issue is not the chip, but the older and slower video and disk components found in these older computers.)
